Job Information - Load Estimate Header

This option only applies if you have the Micronet Estimating System (MES) installed as part of MJC. Use this option to load the header details from an estimate into the currently displayed job header.

 

Technical Tip

You can also load the materials, text and labour lines from an estimate, but you do that on the Job Transaction Processing screen - refer to "Job Transaction Processing - Edit - Read Estimate".
  1. Display the Job Information screen.

Refer to "Maintaining the Service Job Header".

  1. Select LOAD ESTIMATE HEADER.

Micronet displays a selection screen with a list of estimates for service jobs.

  1. To narrow the list of estimates displayed, complete one or more of the following fields:

If you know the number of the estimate, enter it.

 

Debtor

To find an estimate for a particular debtor, enter the debtor number.

Micronet displays the estimates matching your criteria at the bottom of the screen.

  1. Double-click on the estimate you want to load, or select an estimate and press the Enter key.

Micronet redisplays the Job Information screen with the estimate header details loaded into the job header.

 

Technical Tip

Note that the Department field will default to the job number prefix for estimates (normally E), so you might need to change this, e.g. to the department for service jobs.
